About Us

Acorns Childcare (Masham) is a committee run group. We are a registered charity and member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance and National Day Nursery Association.

Acorns Pre-school is open every day 7.30am – 4.30pm during term time. We also offer a holiday club provision during most school holidays. We operate in a ground floor annex at the back of Mashamshire Community Office.

A member of Acorns Pre-school will attend each session, supported by a representative of our management committee.

Registration:

The first time you attend our group we will ask that you complete a basic registration form. This enables us to share information with you even if you do not attend each week.

A member of the Acorns Team will show you the facilities, introduce you to other families and answer any questions you may have.

Costs:

£2 per child(£1.50 additional child) – £1 adult & under 6mths

Drinks and snacks are provided; we ask that you do not bring your own food into the group. Hot drinks must be kept in the kitchen area out of children’s reach.

Sickness:

If your child is not well, please do not bring them along to the group. Anyone suffering from sickness and diarrhoea should not attend for 48hrs after the last episode.

‘Little Acorns’ is part of Acorns Pre-school (Masham)
